Published quarterly by Susan Caldwell of SJC Graphic Enterprises, Inc., the magazine features articles highlighting women in business, including the issues they face, their successes, challenges and achievements. The magazine also offers a directory of products and services for women. It is distributed throughout New Hampshire, southern Maine, and northern Massachusetts. Applaud is recognizing
this milestone with a launch party on May 19, from 5:30 to 7:30
p.m. at the BE Day Spa at 250 Commercial Street in Manchester, NH.
Refreshments will be provided by Wendy Takesian of Tastefully Simple
and free copies of the magazine will be distributed. BE Day Spa
will be raffling a relaxing Spa Service. Everyone is welcome. |
Applaud Magazine Celebrates One-Year Anniversary (continued) “The
first year is so critical for a publication, yet we have succeeded,”
says Caldwell. “So many people have helped--our advertisers,
readers, staff--that we felt a party was in order. Caldwell is pleased to announce some changes for the magazine. “Applaud will be going to a larger standard size of 8x10 with the Spring 2004 issue,” she says. “this will allow us to offer more content and to expand our existing departments. We’ll also have more space for advertisers. In addition, all of our issues are on-line and downloadable for printing. This gives our advertisers more exposure, and makes it easier for people to access the magazine if they can’t get to a newsstand, or wish to find a back issue.
